Celebrating every child’s unique way to communicate

ONe step at a time

Hi there!

I’m Cassidy

Speech therapist & AAC lover

I started out as a grad student at West Chester University who didn’t know much, but I eventually made it here today as a private practice owner working with kids with complex communication needs.

With a background in a private autism school and in early intervention, I’m able to weave my experiences of AAC, echolalia, and parent/professional coaching to help you feel more confident! I’m deeply passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and building skills one small step at a time.

I’m known best for

Welcoming

Creating a safe & fun environment

Individualizing

Tailoring to each person’s needs

Simplicity

Teaching in a way that’s simple

It took lots of courage but

Look where we

are now.

My journey in this field began with very little knowledge about AAC but a strong desire to make a difference. If I can learn how to navigate the often complex-feeling world of AAC, you can too!

I truly believe in celebrating and embracing everyone’s unique strengths. AAC isn’t just a tool, it’s a way to help people connect, express themselves, and improve their quality of life.

One of the most important parts of this journey is empowering parents and professionals. Your support is crucial!

The most important things in life are the connections you make with others

Here for you, all the way

I know what it’s like to be a professional who has no idea where to begin when it comes to working with kids with complex communication needs. And although I’ve never been a parent to a child with any sort of disability, I’ve worked right alongside many parents who have, and I’ve been there through different parts of their journeys.

Whether your child or the child you are working with is non-speaking, minimally speaking, uses echolalia, etc, it can feel daunting to know where to even begin. I’m here to help you with seeing all the beautiful ways that children are communicating and with problem solving how we can support them to communicate more.

Are we a good fit?
